WHAT IS ALL-IN-ONE 30% ? |
|
ALL-IN-ONE
(patent #5,622,739) is a new and unique concept not yet described
in any of the literature. ALL-IN-ONE has a swirled vein of added
loose minerals, proteins, and salt encapsulated inside of the
hard crystallized molasses mix which offers alternate timing
of intake of the encapsulated ingredients.
We find that the rumen micro flora can have variable mineral
requirements than that of the host animal. When the animal is
near its maintenance level of nutrition, the micro flora suffer
from less than adequate levels of minerals. Under these conditions
the animals’ feed intake is lower, free-choice mineral intake
is low or non-existent, and poor quality feed is generally low
in mineral content and availability.
Intuitively, the animal seeks out the additional protein in the
molasses protein supplement and then it is presented fresh clean
mineral (from the vein) as it is uncovered. The cattle readily
consume the mineral under these conditions; digestion increases,
forage consumption then increases; and if there is adequate forage
- productivity resumes and the animal will voluntarily consume
additional free-choice mineral.
Presenting the loose mineral mixture along with the regular
molasses mix provides mineral in a fresh and palatable condition
at all times. The question arises - why not raise the levels
of protein and mineral in the molasses mix? We have tried this
approach and did not get the same results! In testing the ALL-IN-ONE
product, we have found increased performance with 40% to 50%
less consumption as compared to our previous supplements. The
numbers are quite impressive - REDUCING CONSUMPTION
OF SUPPLEMENT, while INCREASING
PERFORMANCE! See Fecal Nitrogen
for more information. |

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: |
|
Provide
one tub for each 6 to 8 head of cattle. Place the tub for
easy consumption. Average range conditions require approximately
1/4 to 3/4 lb. per animal daily. Weather does not adversely
affect ALL-IN-ONE tub. Adequate forage must be available at
all times. Winter consumption will be slightly higher.

 |
| When
cattle are on poor dry feed, at maintenance or below levels
of nutrition, they have little physiological drive to
consume minerals. But when animals are provided loose
minerals together with the hard molasses protein supplement
under these conditions, the resulting increased rate of
microbial growth does two things;
it increases the animal's
productivity and in turn the animal will then consume
mineral free-choice in addition to the All-In-One minerals.
You have actually "primed the pump" so to speak
by increasing the rate of digestion (increasing microbial
growth), taken the animal above maintenance levels of
nutrition, and created natural demand for minerals. |
 |
 |
| On
top quality green feed the opposite occurs. The animal's
physiological demand for protein and energy does not exist,
but because of the high rate of gain, the physiological
demand for mineral is exceedingly high. Therefore, the
animal is attracted to the ALL-IN-ONE 30% supplement for
the loose minerals and salt. Then what you have done is "prime the pump" again to maximize microbial
growth, but now the animal consumes a complete protein
that results in additional growth increase, additional
feed consumption, and a higher rate of feed digestion.
It is a given fact that, on medium to high protein green
feed, additional balanced protein will improve digestion
and assimilation by the animal. |
