| What is ALL IN ONE PLUS IGR? |
|
ALL-IN-ONE
(patent #5,622,739) is a new and unique concept not yet described
in any of the literature. ALL-IN-ONE has a swirled vein of added
loose minerals, proteins, and salt encapsulated inside of the
hard crystallized molasses mix which offers alternate timing
of intake of the encapsulated ingredients.
The most convenient way to control horn flies in beef and dairy
cattle is to supplement with PF tubs containing IGR
Feed-Thru. Insect growth regulator (IGR)
passes through the animal and into the manure, where horn flies
lay their eggs. It breaks the life cycle by preventing horn fly
pupae from developing into biting adult flies.
It
eliminates the expense, labor,
and stress on your cattle associated with sprays, dusts, ear tags
and pour-on. There's
no need to round up or handle cattle because the animals spread
the horn fly control as they graze

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal
law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
FEEDING & MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
When used as
directed, ALL IN ONE PLUSl
provide sufficient (S)-methoprene insect growth regulator to prevent
the emergence of adult horn flies from manure of treated cattle.
Existing adult horn flies will not be affected. Start feeding before
horn flies appear and continue use until cold weather marks the end
of the horn fly season. Allow free choice to cattle.
Cattle should consume an average of 0.8 ounces of ALL IN ONE PLUS
IGR per 100 pounds of animal body weight per day, which is
equivalent to 8 ounces per day for a 1,000 pound animal.
*
Assure cattle are not starved for nutrients prior to feeding ALL IN
ONE PLUS IGR.
* Offer
cattle one ALL IN ONE PLUS IGR for every 15 to 25 head of cattle.
*Remove
all other self limiting nutritional supplements.
*
Locate ALL IN ONE PLUS IGR where cattle congregate (watering,
loafing, shade areas)
* Replenish ALL IN ONE PLUS IGR on a regular basis as needed.
*If
intake of ALL IN ONE PLUS IGR is below 0.8 ounces per 100
pounds animal body weight per day, increase
the number of feeding locations and/or change location (s) to areas
more frequented by cattle to adjust for proper consumption.
*Introduction of this product after adult horn fly infestation is
established will require treatment of cattle with adulticides if
elimination of the adult fly population is desired.
FLY CONTROL FACTS:
*
The horn fly is one of the most important and
economically damaging pest of range cattle. In the
United States they cost cattle producers approximately $876
million every year.
*
Scientists estimate that an economical, effective program
keeps the fly population below 200 flies per animal.
* Adult
flies migrate from other herds. IGR feed thru does not kill
adult flies.
* IGR
prevents the flies from successfully multiplying, breaking
the life cycle. |
